My NQT presentation/graduation thingy was OK. My mum came along and patiently sat in the chapel for 40 MINUTES whilst the college staff got everyone in the right seat and in the correct order. Maybe it was a very good thing that my Grandad couldn't make it after all.
Might I add that this was in 28C tempertaures with pitiful air conditioning!
The organist kept playing bum notes-very anusing!!!
Eventually, it all went quickly as the 'announce name, clap, get certificate, bog off' bit kicked in. Then we escaped to the refectory for free champagne. (hIc!)
Saturday was much better, spent at Dovestones Tor. It was windy (and got a bit TOO ridiculously windy) but the perfect rock made up for it. Even if I did take an hour to finish one Severe I had fallen off! We shall be back.
NEXT WEEKEND will be camping in Stanage. If any of my friends would like to come along to either camp fri/sat night and climb with us, or just pop along for an odd days' worth of climbing, they would be most welcome. (Crags will be Burbgae North/Stanage both trad grit)

Do you have lots of time off now? Or do you have to do a term's worth of preparation before September?!

However, am climbing Tuesday with Jesus and Wednesday Martin and the offer is heartily returned:-)
Glad graduation went well:-)
